Hey there, welcome to my profile. My name is Priyanka Verma and I am currently studying MSc in Management at UCD.
The 100 minds fundraiser program challenges you to raise over €1000 in 100 days to support sick children and their families across CHI hospitals in Crumlin, Temple Street, Tallaght and Connolly. This year, the donations will be invested into a new state of the art simulation centre which will provide a space for healthcare professionals to advance their training capabilities, resulting in better nursing within the hospitals.
I have accepted this challenge and will be organising a few fundraising events in the coming months. Any amount of donation from your end will be greatly appreciated. If you have any concerns feel free to email me at priyanka.rm.verma@gmail.com.
Thanks for being here. Have a great day!

' With a sweet savoury delight so round, You can help children and families all around. '
Have you heard about the Dun Laoghaire Sunday Market? It's the one place where you get to taste cuisines from all around the world while taking a walk along the breezy pier.
If you get a chance to stop by this Sunday, come over to my food stall to have one of the finest street foods of India, the Bombay Aloo Chaat. For every bite you take, the money raised will be donated to cure the sick children in CHI hospitals all over Ireland. I am doing my part, what about you?
The stall will be open on all Sundays starting from 13th December up till February from 10am-4pm. All the money raised will be donated to the Children’s Health Foundation.
WEEK 1
After all the sleepless nights and continuous effort, the Bombay Aloo chaat was a hit! The response
was great. I never imagined people enjoying my country’s delicacy to this extent! I have been working for 13 hours straight and I am proud to say that I succeeded in raising vital funds for the Children's Health Foundation and plan on continuing this project till February. All the money will be donated to help the sick children in CHI hospitals. I am grateful for all those who could make it this Sunday.
WEEK 2
Its only the 2nd Sunday at the Bombay Aloo Chaat and I am already seeing familiar faces. People have come back to my stall to have the Chaat! Its Christmas week and I love how people are all dressed up in Christmas spirit and happy to support me in my cause. A small conversation over crispy, sweet and savoury potato snack in this beautiful weather is what I look forward to every Sunday. If you are reading this and still haven’t come to the stall, come now!
I ended 2021 with a great sale of the Bombay Aloo Chaat. I am closer to my target of raising 1000 euros to help the sick children in Ireland. Thanks to everyone who could come to the market and support my cause. I hope to keep this project alive and contribute as much as I can.
WEEK 3
Unfortunately, due to COVID19, the market has been temporarily shut. I am half way there in reaching my target so I am not loosing hope. People are generously donating and I am glad for that. Hoping that the market reopens next Sunday, the bag of potatoes doesn’t look that happy sitting at home.
WEEK 4
The market is still shut, but guess what? I REACHED MY TARGET!
I was successful in raising a little more than 1000 euros and I am happy I could contribute to CHI.
Thanks to all the people out there who have appreciated the effort I have put into this project and have donated for this cause. I am grateful. I am still not sure about the market reopening next Sunday, but I really hope it does. Will keep you updated!
WEEK 5
Bombay Aloo Chaat is back!
Even though I reached my target, I planned on opening the stall one last time.
The day started off with one of my loyal customers coming back to the stall to start his day with steaming hot plate of chaat. I couldn’t be happier. Soon the crowd started rushing to the market and before I realised, I had served 50 plates in just a few hours! It was hectic but I enjoyed every bit.
I had to close my stall early as I ran out of ingredients. I wasn’t expecting this response on reopening the stall after 2 weeks. This time, I wasn’t convincing people to have my chaat and donate. My simple dish was popular enough to bring people to it. I was proud of my little business venture. I am proud of all the funds I have raised and how its going to help the sick children get better.
