100minds is a unique fundraising challenge for third-level students – bringing together an ambitious group of third-level students and pairing them with a graduate mentor to raise €1000 in just 100 days for sick children in CHI hospitals and urgent care centres.
The project was founded in 2013 by Declan Egan and aims to make a real difference for sick children, while giving students the opportunity to develop their professional and project management skills. Through 100minds, participants have the chance to network, build their CV and grow their confidence.
Since its inception, 100minds has raised over €1.4million for Irish children’s charities – including funding a new isolation dialysis room and classroom in St. Gabriel’s Ward, CHI at Temple Street. In 2016, 100minds moved into Temple Street Foundation (now Children’s Health Foundation) and today, the project raises vital funds to support sick children and their families across CHI hospitals and urgent care centres.
