Hello my name is Caroline Davis. I'm eighteen years of age. I am currently in first year at Dundalk Institute of technology studying general nursing.
I am my class and INMO representative. I love to help people of all backgrounds, but in particular this charity is very important to me as it helps the most vulnerable of our society who in some cases don't have a voice.
➢ A hundred minds is one of Ireland's most unique and exciting student fundraiser - bringing together third-level students with young professional mentors to achieve something really special for sick children in CHI hospitals and urgent care centres.
➢ Each student accepted onto the programme is challenged to exercise their entrepreneurial muscles and come up with a unique fundraising project, activity
or event and raise €1,000(or more!) in a hundred days!
➢ Our Mission: To work together to provide world class facilities, research and compassionate loving care for every sick child in Ireland.
➢ This year the funds raised by the 100minds will help fund the only
advanced and state-of-art simulation centre in paediatrics in Ireland.
➢ By providing this innovative training facility, our doctors and healthcare professionals can learn how to deal with a multitude of disease, from viral infections to metabolic conditions without endangering the lives of sick children. Learning in a life-like simulation will provide invaluable experience that could make the difference in an emergency.
Thank you for taking time to read my profile. please if you can donate and help me reach my goal of €1000 in 100 days, no donation is too small!
Just remember be kind :). Lots of love Caroline xx
