My 100minds project this year is called ‘On Your Feet for Temple Street’, where myself and my fellow participant Deirbhile Gorman have teamed together to get people up and moving this winter. After one week we have reached our halfway mark of €1,000!

We are challenging individuals to get on their feet and climb the height of the Eiffel Tower, which is the equivalent of climbing up and down a flight of stairs 53 times. For every €10 donation, individuals get entered into a draw to win flights to Paris to see the Eiffel Tower in person.

With the great success of our first week, we have decided to also launch our very own version of the 12 Days of Christmas. Each day we will be sharing informative posts about CHI Temple Street and all of the amazing work that happens there. We will also be suggesting a form of exercise to get people on their feet each day, such as going on a walk, or even dancing in their kitchen.

I am so excited to see the next step of this fundraiser unfold! I want to thank everyone who has donated so far, I am amazed with everyone’s generosity this Christmas!
