Hi everyone!
My name is Deirbhile and I am in my 3rd year of studying for a degree in Marketing, Innovation and Technology at DCU. Currently, I am lucky enough to be on a super insightful and hands-on internship in the Assurance department of PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
I am so super excited and honoured to be taking part in the 100 Minds initiative this year. 100 Minds brings together 100 eager third-level students and tasks them with the challenge to raise 100,000 euro in 100 days. This year, all funds raised will be donated directly to the extremely worthy cause that is Temple Street Children’s Health Foundation. Temple Street Hospital is in need of a new Haemodialysis Isolation Unit and the constraints of Covid19 has made this need more prevalent than ever. The funds raised through 100 Minds will directly help build this unit and allow Temple Street to continue providing life-saving treatment to those who need it most.
As a business student, I cannot wait to get started and use my skills and network to raise as much funds as possible for this amazing cause! I am currently planning my first virtual event which will be launching in early December.

#OnYourFeet4TempleStreet raises three thousand euro!

New Year's Eve brought our #OnYourFeet4TempleStreet campaign to a close. Triona Bolger and I are so buzzing (and slightly blown away!) to have raises 3,090 euro for CHI Temple Street from our campaign.
Throughout our campaign, which ran for a little over 3 weeks, we received incredible support from ever corner of the country. Personally two of my stand out highlights were having some of my fellow PwC interns get behind me in completing the challenge on their lunch break and visiting Datascan Document Management Services who kindly sponsored some of their staff to complete the challenge during their work day on Christmas Eve!
We could not be more delighted with how the campaign ran, and even more so how to be able to hand over the donations to the amazing cause that is CHI Temple Street <3

Hi Everyone!
I am so excited to have launched my first 100Minds project last Sunday. Myself and Triona Bolger have joined forces to create a fun and interactive fundraising campaign, #OnYourFeet4TempleStreet !
This Decemeber, We are urging people to get #OnYourFeet4TempleStreet by getting up and active for this amazing cause. For the more daring of the bunch, we have set the challenge to climb the equivalent height of the Eiffel Tower on your staircase at home- that is 53 times up and down your stairs and trust me you feel the burnnn! The other option is to get #OnYourFeet in whatever way suits you.... be it a walk with the dogs, sweaty gym sesh or your favourite nature trek! Whatever you do, just do it for Temple Street by donating to our joint fundraising page and sharing on social media to spread the word!
We are absolutely delighted with the support so far, it has been incredible to reach the 1,000 euro mark in just one week! Now to get cracking on the next thousand!
