Hello, and thank you for taking the time to visit my page. I am a fourth year Hospitality Management student in TUD and I am participating in this years 100 minds campaign to raise as much funds as possible for Temple Street Foundation. Although, my target is €1,000, I hope to exceed this amount by hosting events (more details to follow), and online donations.
Temple Street Foundation cares for sick children who need help right now and they are committed in saving children's lives with over 147,000 patient visits every year.
Every single day, hundreds of sick children and their worried families come through the doors of Temple Street in need of world-class medical care. Temple street raises the funds needed to ensure that these children have access to the very best paramedic equipment, facilities and supports when they need it most.
All donations whether large or small will make a huge difference. All donations will be going directly to Temple Street Hospital. I am more than happy to answer any further questions and I can be contacted on: shannon.eustace@hotmail.com
Every little bit helps to save a child's life.
The Countdown is on ...
Posted: about 3 years ago
The countdown is on with only 16 days to go. To date, I have raised €960.00 - for the next few weeks in order to reach my target of €1000.00 I plan to continue to share my link on social media. Send a reminder to the companies that have agreed to donate and also to pick up the bucket in the cafe. Also, any proceeds that I make on my depop account will go directly to this wonderful cause.
Fingers crossed that I will meet or surpass my target :)
My 100 minds journey to date
Posted: about 3 years ago
Once I was accepted for the 100 minds challenge, I was honored and immediately started to share my link on social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. The journey was certainly much more difficult than I expected. However, the kindness from my family and friends made it easier.
When trying to organise an event one huge thing that I noticed was that many places simply said no and others ignored emails. To date, I have got one company to donate a sum of money. Other companies have also agreed to make a contribution. A local cafe were also kind enough to allow me to leave a bucket on the counter.
