Hi everyone!

My name is Catrina English and I am an MSc Management student in UCD Michael Smurfit Business School.

I have been selected and given a fantastic opportunity to work with 100minds and attempt to raise funds for Temple Street Children's University Hospital. For those of you that don't know, 100minds is a social enterprise project started in 2013 that brings together Ireland's top third level students and challenges them to raise money to help support the amazing work thats being done in Temple St.

This years funds will contribute to a new radiology ultrasound room and sedation facilities that will assist treating vulnerable children ensuring the have the most comfortable and speedy treatment possible.

100minds gives students a vital opportunity to enhance their existing entrepreneurial, organisational and planning skills. As a nurse myself, I cannot stress how important projects like 100minds are to all patients and families.

I will be taking part in a donut sale in my university, a charity fundraiser dinner and a bucket collection to raise money and any donations big or small will make a huge impact!
