My name is Surabhi Agarwal and I'm a second year Computer Science student at UCD. By being a fundraising volunteer this year, my goal is to raise upto 1000€.
100minds is a social enterprise initiative where 100 third evel students participate to raise upto €1,000 each in the aid of Temple Street Children's Hospital in a 100 days. Since 100minds began in 2013 it has raised over 1 million euro for Irish charities. This year the money that will be raised is going towards the redevelopment of St. Philomena's Ward. These funds will be put towards everything from new medical equipment to better entertainment centers, anything that can improve the life of the children.
I believe the future of the world depends on the next generation and it is our responsibility to be able to provide them with the best healthcare and facilities. So, even the smallest donation would act as a huge contribution to the Temple Street Children Hospital. Let's step forward to make this world a better place!
We aim to raise €100,000 for Temple Street Hospital, with the funds raised going towards providing life-saving equipment, supporting the families of sick children, and helping to give the children in Temple Street a childhood alongside their Play Therapy Department.
Temple Street looks after 145,000 children every year. Every day, their patients fight for their lives. Read about them here: https://www.templestreet.ie/about/our-patients/
