Back home in Canada, happy hour is a commonly enjoyed promotion with restaurants. Happy hour includes discounted food and drinks with some other specials as well. In Ireland this is not a common promotion and I thought it would be fun to host an event like this. I had great food, wine, a signature cocktail and a raffle, and named it “Appy Hour” for its emphasis on great appetizer selection. For the raffle, some prizes included: Gift cards to Honey Truffle with a KeepCup, Jameson gift set, Netflix & Chill package, G&T fish bowl and a few more. The night was a lot of fun and I was thrilled to see so much generosity come through. Happy participants took in all there was to offer and brought exceptional support for Temple Street. Overall, an excellent night to remember!

For school I create spreadsheets to help organize my modules and assignments. I have gave them to friends in the past, they all loved them and find them helpful. After chatting with friends I realized that people would pay for access to these spreadsheets, which are: Term Outline, Assignment Outline, Assignment Workback, Grade Record and a Name Tag. I sent a message to my classmate that for a small donation I would give them access to the spreadsheet I created. This is an ongoing fundraising effort that will get me closer to my goal.

For one of the local schools, I made and brought a variety of sweets for the teaching staff. Some of the items were: Homemade chocolate muffins, honey muffins, chocolate covered strawberries and assorted chocolates. The teachers enjoyed these goods, and in return were generous enough to donate to my fundraising efforts. Thank you so much to the staff once again!
