Hi my name is Róisín O'Shea. I am a final year Commerce International with Spanish Student in UCD. I am delighted to have been chosen for this years 100minds program!
100minds is a social enterprise initiative where 100 3rd level students are chosen and tasked with raising €1,000 each in aid of Temple Street Children's Hospital in a 100 days. Since 100minds began in 2013 it has raised over 1 million euro for Irish charities. This year the money that will be raised is going towards the redevelopment of St. Philomena's Ward. These funds will be put towards everything from new medical equipment to better entertainment centers, anything that can improve the life of the children.
Being in hospital as a child can be a scary time for both the kid and their parents and even the smallest donation could really make a positive impact on their time in Temple Street Children's hospital!
