Hi all,

My name is Mark, I'm 21 years old and I'm currently a final year Retail & Services Management Student in DIT. I have been chosen as a one of the participants of the 100 minds students to raise €100,000 for the Temple Street Foundation.

Children’s charities have always had a place in my heart, the last two years I have organized two events fundraising in aid of CMRF Crumlin raising over €2000 for the charity.

I am also a volunteer youth advisory panel member for the charity Jigsaw whose mission is to advance the mental health of young people in Ireland aged 12-25.

The donations this year will contribute to the redevelopment of the St. Philomena’s ward. This much needed development will provide Temple Street Hospital with additional and better facilities to treat the vulnerable patients who will require isolation. These rooms will also enable parents to stay with their children through what can be an extremely stressful and anxious time for the young patients.

I plan to reach my target by hosting a drag bingo night in a local venue Portmarnock Sports & Leisure Club. Any donations are appreciated all adds up to make a huge impact for the charity.
