Hi everyone,

Being new to the city and meeting many locals, I became eager to get involved in the community and discovered a wonderful opportunity to volunteer with 100minds to raise funds on behalf of Temple Street Children’s Hospital, Dublin's largest children's hospital, supporting children in need from across the country.

What's the cause?
100minds is a social enterprise which consists of 100 students each aiming to raise €1000 for the hospital over 100 days. This year’s fund will go towards supporting the redevelopment of St. Philomena's Ward and provide vital equipment such as patient monitors, resuscitation equipment and patient entertainment centres.

Why am I getting involved?
I firmly believe lives are enriched when we get involved in local communities and have a positive impact on individuals' wellbeing. On a personal level, I’ve spent many years getting involved with not-for-profits supporting those in need, having worked with the elderly in my hometown of Montreal. When I found out about 100minds, and how students across Dublin get together to help support the Temple Street Children’s Hospital, I was excited to get involved and help in any way I could.
