First off, thanks a million for viewing my profile! Secondly I would just like to introduce myself before telling you about this wonderful project. My name is Ronan, I am studying a course called Marketing Innovation and Technology in Dublin City University. I am currently in third year and I am delighted to have been chosen to participate in 100minds 2017/2018.
What is 100minds?
100minds is a social enterprise that was set up in 2013. 100 minds connects 3rd level students with a worthy cause and encourages them to run fundraising projects that will help develop their skill set and apply their theoretical learning’s from college in a practical manner. We are hoping to raise over €100,000 for Temple Street Hospital. The funds raised will be split across three areas in Temple Street - Patient & parental support, play therapy & life saving equipment.
Every year the hospital needs to upgrade and replace vital pieces of life saving machinery. These purchases are crucial and allow Temple Street to carry out their duties on a daily basis. These machines save lives and ensure patients are looked after in the best way possible. With the money raised through 100minds, Temple Street hope to purchase eight Nasopharyngeal Endoscopes for the ENT and Speech and Language Departments, as well as a VuMax HD A/B Ultrasound Scanner for theatre.
Along with 99 other third level students, I have been given the objective to raise 1000 euro in 100 days. I plan on raising the majority of the 1000 euro by organising events over the next 4 months. Although I am optimistic about surpassing this target I just want to say that any donation will help me along the way and I will be grateful to anyone that donates. If you are interested in donating just click the ‘Donate Now’ button at the top of this page.
If you would like to find out any more information about this incentive you can drop me an email and I will get back to you as soon as possible: email@example.com
