My name is Millie Cooper! I am in my final year in UCD reading economics and information and computer studies. I am delighted to announce that I will be apart of this years 100minds team 2017/18 in aid of Temple Street Children's Hospital.

I have always loved the scheme of 100minds and the fact that the donations this year is going towards Temple Street is a bonus. You get to learn great skills such as organising and marketing as well as raising money for a terrific cause. We recently met our mentors who are incredibly helpful and taught us that the simple ideas are the best ideas.

Myself and my friend Izzy Farrell have teamed in this years 100minds to throw an event in a nightclub called Xico to raise majority if not all of the €1000 required. We are so lucky to be able to throw the event there free of charge. Our incentives to make people go are giveaways such as €100 Applegreen voucher, Leopardstown Inn voucher for 4 people, €50 Blow salons and many more! Our event is on the 21st of November and we are hoping it will be a great success. It is a great opportunity to organise an event and raise money for the cause.

I will be giving an update of how the event goes and how much money we raise from it. I am incredibly excited to organise this event as it is nothing like what I have done before.

I will also continue to raise money in different ways to raise as much money as I possibly can before the deadline in 100 days.
