Hi, my name is Emma, I'm a French student currently studying in my third year of Business and Arts Management in IADT. I am so happy to have been chosen for this year's 100minds project and have lots of exciting ideas.
100minds is a project in which 100 students raise 1000 euro over the course of 100 days, the donations go to Temple Street Children's hospital. Over the past few years, this project has raised over half a million for different charities. I am delighted to be able to participate and hope you will help me get to my 1000 euro goal!
So, let me tell you where your donations will go: First, some of the money will go towards buying new life saving equipment for the hospital.
Your donations will also help organise "sibling camps" in which the brothers and sisters of the children in hospital get to come visit, meet the doctors, learn more about the hospital'w work and their sibling's illness. This process has been shown to tremendously help with the hardships that a family encounters when one of their children is in hospital.
Finally, with your help Temple Street can organise seasonal events to make the children's life at the hospital as normal as possible. Your donations will contribute to organising Halloween, Christmas and Easter parties and other events.
To me, this project is extremely important, giving children battling an illness a life that is as close to a "normal childhood" when they are in hospital, is crucial. Every child deserves to play, meet other kids, be creative, make mistakes, and, most importantly, be a child.
I would be so happy and honoured if you would help me through this journey, every donation, even the smallest, counts.
