I am taking part in 100 minds which is an organisation that gives students a chance to raise 1000 euro in 100 days (finishes 15 February 2018) in any creative way they see fit. This year marks the 3rd year in which 100 minds is raising money for Temple Street Children's hospital.
The money raised is specifically going towards Endoscopes for the speech and language department and an ultrasound scanner also. There will also be some money set aside for patient and parental support and play therapy, which hosts four special events a year at Easter, Summer, Halloween and Christmas.
Finally I'd like to give a huge thanks to my sponsors who have helped me so far in my journey

To get the ball rolling on my first night of the 100 minds challenge I decided to make my 3 friends Alan, Andrew and Jonny an offer they couldn't refuse.
For my first donators Jonny and Andrew I promised to clean the house from top to bottom with the added incentive for Andrew that I'll make him a mean cup of tea anytime he wants.
For Alan I made the same offer with the added difficulty that he lives in Ranalagh so he can call me out three times between now and 2018 to make him a cup of tea any time he wants.

I wanted to give a huge thank you to the Irish rugby team and the Shelbourne hotel for allowing me to get a rugby jersey signed. I will be auctioning it off and all proceeds will be going to Temple street.
Cards

Over the Christmas break I held a cards game with the neighbours and charged ten euro a head for the game. I provided some drinks and brownies for the guests and all in all it was good evening.
This was an easy way to make 80 euro as everyone has the free time at Christmas and are very generous also.
Two framed Irish rugby jerseys
Posted: about 5 years ago
My plan for the remainder of the 100minds is to sell the two Irish rugby jerseys I have, which my Mum was able to frame for me which I think should be able to get me the rest of the way there.
I will cycle pub to pub, or to businesses in order to try sell the jerseys. The jerseys look very professional now that they are framed and I hope to be able to sell them with ease.
Soccer tournament

The final event I am trying to organise at the moment is a 5 aside soccer tournament in UCD. I am going to try and organise it for the 7th of February I think and charge 5 euro a head to enter the competition.
We will then go to the clubhouse after to present the awards and I'll try get prizes for a raffle also to try make a bit more money on the night.

Huge thank you to JJ Smyths for buying my framed Ireland jersey for 350 euro. Only 100 euro short of my target now.
