My name is Asha Dusane and I am pursuing master’s degree in Computer science from UCD.
I am delighted being a part of 100minds family and the opportunity I have been given to work with 100minds to raise much-needed funds for Temple Street Children's Hospital.
If you don't already know what 100minds is, let me tell you!
100minds was founded in 2013 and is a student-run programme, that works to raise money for Temple Street Children's Hospital. 100minds takes 100 students from across the country and gives them 100 days to raise €1000 each for Temple Street.
So, let me tell you where your donations will go: First, some of the money will go towards buying new life-saving equipment for the hospital.
Your donations will also help organize "sibling camps" in which the brothers and sisters of the children in hospital get to come visit, meet the doctors, learn more about the hospital's work and their sibling's illness.
Finally, with your help Temple Street can organize seasonal events such as Halloween, Christmas to make the children's lives at the hospital as normal as possible.
