Stay tuned to the updates section to hear about what upcoming events I have planned!
I am so excited to be a part of this project. This year, the aim of this fundraiser is to raise valuable funds for a new satellite classroom for St. Gabriel's Ward. This ward specialises in neurosurgery. The children on this ward can be in the hospital for a long duration of time and so are unable to attend school. For some children, they may even sit their Junior Certs here. As many children on this ward are seriously ill, they are unable to go to classrooms elsewhere in the hospital as they require round the clock care and to be close by to their care team as they recover post-surgery. The development of this satellite classroom will have an enormous impact on the children in the hospital and gives the children the opportunity to learn in a quiet, stimulating environment.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated by myself and Temple Street Hospital.

Launch Night of 100minds 2016/2017
Posted: over 6 years ago
Hi Everyone,
I am absolutely delighted to have been chosen as a participant for the 2016/2017 100minds project. 100minds is a social enterprise project founded in 2013, that brings together some of Ireland’s top college students and connects them with one cause to achieve big goals in a short space of time. 100minds was founded and run by Declan Egan, a former UCD student from its inception in 2013 until June 2016 when he handed it over to Temple Street Foundation – the charity he worked with in year one. As founder, Declan remains close to the project, acting as a mentor and friend to the Foundation. Since it started, 100minds has raised just under €1million for four Irish charities – a phenomenal achievement. Temple Street Foundation looks forward to working with 100minds students, mentors and partners for many years to come.
This year, all the money raised will be going towards building a satellite classroom in St Gabriel's Ward in the hospital.
Last Thursday was the official launch night which was held in the hospital. I was excited to have the chance to meet so many like-minded students from across the country who are participating in this as well getting to meet the many of the mentors and behind the scene organisers. I have many fundraising projects in the pipeline and I will be keeping you all updated on my progress. So far, I have raised €110 and am over 10% of the way of hitting the €1,000 target.
If you have an interest in finding out more, please do not hesitate to contact me via checking out my dashboard or via email (included on my 100minds dashboard) or via LinkedIn mail. If you would like to donate to this cause, you can do so by clicking the link below.

Hey guys,
I am delighted to have not only reached my target but also to have exceeded it at €1,313! I would like to say a huge thank you to Craughwell NS for helping me raise money for this project through their ''Santa Dash''. I would also like to thank every one who donated through our four church collections over the 17th/18th of December in the parishes of Craughwell & Ballymana. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. Finally, I would like to thank everyone else who has helped me reach this target through both donations, their time and spreading the word. This money will have a huge impact for those in Temple St. Hospital.
Many Thanks, Niamh
