I have organised a table quiz which will be on in Crowe's bar, Bohermore on the 27th of January. Hopefully this night will allow me to reach my target. There will be a raffle with great prizes, finger food and music on he night which hopefully will get a crowd. It begins at 8pm.

With 5 weeks of fundraising until the end of my 100minds campaign and to reach my target of 1000 euro, I am delighted to have raised just over 400 euro for Temple Street Children's Hospital. I am thrilled to say that the pub quiz on Friday evening was a success! After having sent emails to local schools and businesses, put up posters around Galway city and made announcements on Galway Bay FM and iradio I was still apprehensive about the turnout on the night.

It was also more difficult than I expected to get prizes for the raffles but having spend a few days going door-to-door I managed to get some brilliant prizes including a night away in a hotel!

Thankfully a huge crowd came to support the cause and we even had to get more tables from another room to accommodate people! It was a brilliant night and everyone really enjoyed it! We also had an auction for a gym membership voucher for the Radisson blue in Galway which someone bought for €200!

Most importantly the total funds raised on the night came to €1500. It was a really enjoyable expericence and I am delighted to contribute to the Temple Street Foundation in such a way!
