Last night, November 10th 2016, 100 of us participants gathered at Temple Street Children's Hospital for the launch night of 100minds to mark the start of this incredible opportunity.

We had a chance to meet our mentors and mingle with the other participants, along with networking with other mentors and everyone involved in this incredible event (with tasty food and sweets on offer).

We were also given a presentation by the founder of 100minds, Declan Egan, along with the co-founder, Kevin Cassidy and Rosin O'Conner, Head of individual giving and campaigns from Temple Street Children's Hospital Foundation. It was great to get an insight into the initial start up of 100minds and to see where the money we raise will be going - satellite classrooms for the long term patients of Temple Street.

Time to get brainstorming and planning!

Tomorrow, Saturday 18th February I am holding a pub quiz in my local community! There will be a raffle on the night with spot prizes and refreshments.

Lot of preparation has gone into this quiz and we are expecting a large turnout!

The pub quiz was a great success filling 22 tables! A total of €1,840 was raised on the night alone through the tables and a raffle! Adding this to the amount already raised, plus donation boxes and a separate raffle brings the total raised to €3,582!!!!
