For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Claire O’Brien. I am currently a final year Corporate Law student and auditor of the Entrepreneurship Society NUIG. I am delighted to have been chosen as one of the lucky 100 students, to participate in this year’s 100minds.
Each year 100minds brings a group of 100 charitable students from different disciplines around Ireland together, with the aim to collectively raise €100,000. 100minds is a social enterprise founded in 2013, with the aim of supporting various children's charities across Ireland. This year we have been fortunate enough to raise this money for Temple Street Children’s Hospital.
Temple Street Children’s Hospital is such a fantastic cause! This year everything raised will go towards building a new satellite classroom at the St. Gabriel’s ward. St. Gabriel’s Ward specialises in neurosurgery and craniofacial surgery. Many of the children on this ward are extremely sick and the development of this classroom will have a hugely positive impact on the children.
Over the Next 100 days I am very eager to raise my goal of €1,000. This experience will be so beneficial and challenging in the most positive way. Every donation big or small will make such an impact. To donate please click the “Donate Now” on the top right hand side. Please stay in touch and follow my progress over the next coming months. Thank you in advance!
