Thanks for visiting my 100minds page and helping me reach my goal of raising at least €1000 for Temple Street Children's Hospital. All donations will go straight to 100minds. This year, our goal is to raise €100,000 for a new classroom for the children in St. Gabriel's Ward, which specialises in neurosurgery and craniofacial surgery. Many of the children who attend this ward are seriously ill, have had major neurosurgery and require round-the-clock care.
€100,000 would provide these children with a calm and focused environment for children to learn and recover in, giving them a sense of normality and boosting their confidence. As it is a hospital the classroom must be able to facilitate each child's unique post-surgery needs.
I am currently in first year of college, studying business and management in DIT. I hope to organise a few events up until our deadline of February 16th. I have gained experience in fundraising when I travelled to Ghana on an immersion trip. Personally, the highlights were the week we spent teaching and organising the fundraiser, which encouraged me to take part in 100minds.
I'll keep you posted on my progress and about upcoming events. For now, please donate above, if you can. The smallest amount can make the biggest of differences.
Thank You

Now that the 100minds initiative is over, I would like to say thank you to everyone who supported me. To all the people who came to my events, my parents, the people who generously donated and especially the Bunsen, Lemon, Nails, Inglot, Wishbone, Nando's, Boojum, and Gallagher TV Rathmines who donated prizes for the raffle and games. The generous donations of everyone will change the lives of the children being treated in the Neurological and Craniofacial Ward in Temple Street. A sense of normality will be returned to their lives and have positive effects on their recovery. Also, I would like to thank SW3 and Hooke & McDonald for giving me the opportunity to host a cake sale at the launch of one of their apartment blocks and for their generous donations. I'd also like to thank everyone who helped organise 100minds. The opportunity has thought me new important life lessons and has forced me to go outside my comfort zone, helping me grow as a person. I am so shocked and grateful for how generous everyone was to the charity. "Together we are stronger"
