Hi Everyone! Welcome to my 100 minds profile. My name is Aoife Dempsey and I'm currently doing an BSc in International Business with french. I am honoured and very excited to be a part of the 2016/7 100 Minds Team.

100 minds is a social enterprise that brings together 1000 of Ireland's top students and connects them with children's charities, with the aim of carrying out a short term fundraising project.

This year, 100 students have been selected from across Ireland, with a goal of raising €1,000 each in a creative and entrepreneurial way. This years chosen charity is Temple Street Children’s Hospital. All the funds raised during tis initiative will go towards building a new satellite classroom in St. Gabriel's Ward. This is where children with long-term illnesses stay, having this classroom would restore a piece of normality back into their lives and help them to feel like children again. They will be able to learn and grow because of this classroom, thanks to your donations. I am really excited to begin planning my fundraising projects for this genuinely worthy cause. I have a couple of ideas in the pipeline, and will be sure to update my blog regularly with information about my fundraising projects.
