Hey guys,

My name is Sophie Barnwell, I am 19 years old and I am studying Food innovation in DIT.

I am delighted with my chance to be part of 100minds 2016 which is an amazing organisation run to help Children's charities in need.

This year 100minds is focused on Childline, an important helpline which aims to support the youth of our country. Childline is struggling to stay open, and was close to having to shut down its night time service last year. It needs your help.

At this point of my fundraising efforts I would like to thank everyone who has helped me in some way , be it in donations or organising an event. I have now succeeded in reaching the target of €1,000 but there is still a long way to go yet to meet our goal as a 100minds team.

I have already organised a Christmas Hockey Tournament and a 40 foot jump in aid of Childline and plan to organise some more events before April 2016.

In the meantime any donation big or small as I say again would be hugely appreciated and go straight to Childline itself.
