Hello, my name is Sinead Duell and I am an MSc marketing student at UCD Smurfit. I have joined the 100minds project to raise money for Childline. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the charity which will benefit thousands of children in Ireland who depend on Childline for advice, a shoulder to cry on, and in some cases to help get them out of harmful situations. I ask you to please help me raise money for this amazing cause. You will be making a positive impact on many children’s lives. The goal is for each volunteer to raise €1000 each and 100minds is hoping that together they can reach €1 million to help Childline.

Childline provides a 24 hour listening service for all children up to the age of 18. This service is provided by volunteers and staff who are trained to listen and understand young people.

Young people contact the service for a wide range of reasons such as bullying, sexuality, everyday chat, and many other issues.

If the child isn’t safe, and tell Childline where they are, they will pass his or her details on to someone who can help, like the Gardaí or a Social Worker.
