Hi, I'm Sarah Long and I'm a 3rd Year Law student in Trinity College Dublin. I am delighted to have been chosen to take part in this year's 100minds campaign. I decided to get involved with 100minds as I wanted to start giving back to my society and 100minds provided me with the perfect opportunity.
The support, network and and ambition that 100minds provides, as well as the encouragement to be innovative and individualistic makes 100minds the best way for students like myself to contribute to their society and it allowed me to put my entrepreunerial skills into great use.
100minds is fundraising for a fantastic cause this year, ChildLine. Childline is an essential service for the children and young people of Ireland. Our efforts will make certain that the next generation of children will not go again without a voice. The money we raise in this year's campaign will make this a reality and will ensure that every child is heard.
How can you help?
We need your help to ensure that someone is there for every child. Every donation makes a difference. If you would like to donate, please click 'Donate now'. Any money raised goes directly to Childline, so you can be sure that it is the children who will receive the benefit of your donation.
On March 11th, myself and fellow participant Dan Flynn, will be opening a new pop up gallery for one night only. The unique South Studios, a former brewery and tannery, will be host to our Irish artist expo located on New South Row, Dublin 8. It is set to be a perfect night to catch up with friends, relax and meet the artists in person.
Whether you’re a brand new art collector, a seasoned veteran or simply looking to spend a night indulging in an abundance of wine and canapés, there’s something for everyone at the Pop Up Gallery. To find out more, follow this link - https://www.facebook.com/events/1818027251758430/
