Hey thanks for visiting my page. My name is Sam Salib, I'm a first year student in National College of Ireland studying Marketing Practice. I love everything marketing & entrepreneurship.
ISPCC Childline issued an emergency appeal due to the lack of funding which would lead to their night service being shut down. This needs to be a 24 hour service. We can't let that happen! They already miss at least 12 calls every hour.
Children may not have access to a phone during the day so the late hours are a outlet for them to be heard and listened to. Every night there is somebody hidden under their bed covers, on the phone to Childline.
We all need an outlet to be listened to when things get hard. Something as simple as listening can prevent and rescue people from a dark path. It is sad to think that hundreds of calls go unanswered because of the lack of funding, it is hard to comprehend that Childline is a lifeline.
