Hello! My name is Rishi Ahuja and I'm thrilled to be participating in this year's 100minds campaign. I joined 100minds because I believe in the power of civic engagement and youth-led action. Together, we can create transformative change for youth across Ireland.
About me:
Mitchell Scholar and Economics Masters Student @ Trinity College Dublin, UC Berkeley alumni, and avid policy nerd. Obsessed with contributing to innovation in the social sector. I love reading, thinking, eating, playing basketball, and rowing with the Dublin University Boat Club.
Why I fundraise:
I have a deep interest in developing policies and practices that create broader opportunities for youth across the world. As a Berkeley student, I worked with Fostering Media Connections to enhance attention and journalistic coverage of the foster care system in California. As a Policy Intern, I organized a forum that brought over 100 legal experts together to assess structural problems in the foster youth system. I've also participated in an annual fundraiser for California Youth Connection and Fostering Media Connections in which we climbed Mount Shasta and raised $30,000+ over the past 3 years.
My idea:
I've partnered with Julianne Eleanor, an incredible artist and illustrator, to put together a collection of pieces centered on the themes of childhood and imagination. We are hoping to sell these beautiful pieces both online and in person at an evening event being graciously hosted by 3fe on March 31st.
Backyard Mythologies
Posted: about 7 years ago
I’m incredibly excited to launch Backyard Mythologies — an online and physical art gallery featuring the brilliant work of Julianne Eleanor. This initiative is a part of 100minds, a social venture that brings together the top students in Ireland to fundraise for an important cause. This year we are working with Childline to ensure that every youth in Ireland has someone to talk to when they need it most.
In addition to online sales, we will be hosting a gallery event at 3fe on March 31st in Dublin. Send me a message if you are interested in attending and seeing more beautiful works like the piece above!
You can get involved in two key ways:
1) Order a print of your favorite piece: https://rishi-ahuja.squarespace.com
2) Send in a donation directly to my fundraising page
100% of all profits raised will go directly to Childline.
Thank you all for your help!

Raffle for Brush!
Posted: about 7 years ago
I'm excited to announce that all donors to my 100minds campaign of $10 or more are automatically entered into a raffle for Brush, an exciting piece in our collection that will be exhibited on March 31st, 7 PM, at 3fe!
Brush is a collaborative painting between Mitchell Scholar Julianne Norton and Marshall Scholar Antonio Campelli. Brush conveys the quiet satisfaction of morning rituals and the purring sun that comes in through the window. Printed on anodized aluminum, the painting has a beautiful luminosity.
