Hi guys, thanks for taking the time to read my profile,

My name is Lauren Feeney, I’m a 26 year old final year student in Business at IT Sligo.

I am absolutely thrilled to have been selected for the 100 minds program this year, an initiative that raises much needed money for the deserving children’s charity, Childline. This year we aim to raise an unbelievable €1,000,000, collectively and it is a great way for young people to come together for a great cause. It will be a challenge, but one I am definitely looking forward to. I am very lucky to be working with a mentor from Journal.ie and together we hope to come up with an innovative idea to raise much needed donations.

Childline is such an amazing cause as it raises money and awareness for children in need, which is a cause very close to my heart. In last few years, Childline has been struggling to carry out the much needed 24 hour emergency service they have been providing to children from all over the country, due to a lack of funding and donations.

I would greatly appreciate your support and every contribution, however big or small, will make a difference to a child somewhere who needs love and support.

I will keep you all posted on my 100 minds page and Facebook, of my up and coming fun filled events.
