My name is Conor, a History and Geography student studying at UCD from the Kingdom! :-D I first heard of 100 Minds from a friend, and the concepts surrounding the initiative instantly captivated me. I felt it an honour to be picked to participate in a campaign, which contributes in a positive and direct manner, by enhancing the lives of the country’s most vulnerable children. This year’s charity is ChildLine, Ireland’s main medium were isolated children around the country can avail of the charities services, providing a vital lifeline to young people in difficult circumstances. By partaking in the 100 minds initiative, I feel as an individual that by creating fundraising projects through the supports and mentorship offered by the team, one is extensively contributing to the development of the charity, enabling an even greater number of young people to avail of the service. Throughout the next few months, a number of creative events and projects, will provide the necessary funds to donate to the organisation, while developing my own skills sets, which can be used to the same extent in the future. Stay posted for updates!
