100 minds is a social enterprise founded in 2013, with the aim of supporting various children's charities across Ireland. This year 100 minds are taking on their most ambitious target to date. 1000 students across Ireland, will raise 1,000,000 euro for Childline!
This year we have been fortunate enough to have been linked with one of the most important and far-reaching organizations this country has. Childline is a free, 24-hour confidential service which reaches out to children in need. Childline currently receives 1,800 calls per day with night-time calls accounting for about 11% of volume.
Only recently, Childline came exceptionally close to losing their night service. In many instances the late night calls are from 45,000 children per year who, due to their domestic circumstances, cannot call at other times of the day.
Childline is, and wants to remain, a service that gives children and young people a voice and it is up to us to make sure of this!
