Hi everyone and welcome to my 100 minds profile!

My name is Aoife and I am a 20 year old student originally from Sligo. I am currently studying Economics in University College Dublin.

I am absolutely delighted to have been chosen to be part of this years 100 minds fundraising team. This year 100 minds has partnered up with a fantastic and very hard working charity known as ISPCC Childline. Over the past 2 years the 100 minds team have raised an incredible €138,000 for Temple Street Hospital, and €247,000 for Blossom Ireland and Bernardos. This year the 100 minds team hope to go beyond both of these figures and raise an incredible €1,000,000.

As most of you know Childline is a very important charity run in Ireland. Childline provides a 24 hour listening service for all children up to the age of 18. Childline seeks to empower and support children using the medium of telecommunications and information technology. This charity plays a huge role in so many children's lives. Unfortunately last year Childine had a lot of funding issues and almost had to stop their overnight service. In order to prevent this from happening this year, the 100 minds team collectively, with a total of 1000 participants/students across Ireland, aim to reach a target of €1,000,000.
