Hello everyone, thank you for visiting my 100minds profile!
My name is Anna Slattery, and I'm a student in my penultimate year in Dublin Institute of Technology, studying Business and Management. I am honoured to have been chosen for 100minds this year and to be given the opportunity to network with other like-minded students and mentors, obtain valuable experience in fundraising and project management, whilst raising funds for the indispensable charity Childline.
100minds is a social enterprise founded in 2013, that brings together some of Ireland’s top college students and connects them with one cause to achieve big goals in a short space of time. This year 1,000 students have been chosen, each with the objective of raising a minimum of €1,000 for ISPCC Childline. I hope to raise this €1,000, and if possible in excess of this amount, as every euro raised will go directly to Childline and can be the difference between a child having someone to talk to or not. For more information on Childline, please visit http://www.ispcc.ie/.
In order to raise these funds, myself and my two friends, Rachel Buckley and Kara O'Sullivan, who are also participating in 100minds, have collaborated our individual ideas in order to create one big event, in which we hope to raise €3,000 overall. I am optimistic that we can raise this amount, and hopefully exceed this target.
Together, we can make a difference and raise this overall amount of €1,000,000. To donate please press the green DONATE NOW button above and assist in making an enormous impact. I am extremely appreciative of any donation as every cent counts, and no donation is too small, anything will help.
