My name is Patrick Biggar. I'm 21 years old and I am currently doing a placement in Enterprise Ireland as a part of my degree in Entrepreneurship in Maynooth University.
On February 7th 2015, I will cycle 235 kilometres across Ireland from Blackrock, Co.Dublin to Galway City Centre to fundraise for Blossom Ireland and Barnardos Ireland, two childrens charities.
As a member of the 100minds fundraising team, we're working to generate €150,000 to fund multiple social programmes that will help protect and nurture children all over the country suffering from abuse, poverty, neglect and disabilities. These programmes are being run by Barnardos Ireland & Blossom Ireland. I have been given a target of €1000 but I hope I can raise more than that with your help. With your donation, no matter how big or small, you will contribute to giving children a happier life. The money you donate is lodged straight into the bank accounts of the charities 50/50.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising profile. If you have any questions or would like to join me on the cycle to Galway next February - email me at firstname.lastname@example.org

So Christmas is over and all the mince pies have been eaten, and maybe a little more.
It's now time to turn my attention to the big day on February 7th. I will be completing a 235km ride from Blackrock to Galway. I have now reached the halfway mark of the 1000 euro target but I am still eager to seek donations.
I am currently planning the times and the route for the event.
