Hello and welcome to my 100minds fundraising page!
My name is Clara Melly and I am a third year Law student in Trinity College, Dublin.
I am absolutely delighted to say that this year I have been chosen to be a participant of 100minds, a project that brings together 150 Irish university students all with a common goal of collectively raising €150,000. Last year 100minds was a tremendous success and raised over €138,000 for Temple Street Childrens Hospital. I’m confident that this year we’ll be similarly successful, but I need your help. Each one of us has been given to task to fundraise €1,000 each by any means possible, the more creative, the better.
I have experience fundraising for organisations abroad in India and Vietnam, but am even more excited to make an impact much closer to my own community. This year, 100minds have partnered with two incredible Irish charities, Barnardos and Blossom Ireland, both dedicated to making this country a better, safer and happier place for children. Barnardos works towards bettering the lives of disadvantaged children by getting them out of poverty or abuse and allowing them to have a promising future. Blossom Ireland offers children with intellectual disabilities an opportunity to engage in the things that so many children take for granted. 100minds prides itself on complete transparency of funds with every single cent raised being directly transferred into the accounts of our charity partners.
