Firstly, let me tell you something about myself. I'm 19 years old and I am currently studying Property Economics in D.I.T. I've been involved with fundraising projects throughout my school life. After following my cousins 100minds project last year, which helped hundreds of children in Temple Street Hospital, I was very eager to join and I was delighted to hear that my application had been accepted.

This years goal is to raise 150,000 for two children charities named Barnados and Blossom Ireland. Barnardos work with vulnerable children and their families in Ireland and actively campaign for the Rights of all Children. Blossom Ireland offers children with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to access what every other typically developing child can without difficulty. - http://www.100minds.org/blossom-barnardos

Over the next couple of weeks and months I will be fundraising to reach my own personal goal of over €1,000. I have a few ideas already in the pipeline and I am working on the finer details to get them up and running. I would urge for as many people as possible to donate as much or as little as they can. Every cent that is donated will go directly into the bank accounts of Barnados and Blossom Ireland, This is the key factor that makes 100minds unique from other charities.
