First of all, really thank you for choosing to come to my page and deciding to help the Temple Street Children's Hospital simultaneously. Every donations, no matter big or small, will contribute to the hospital to help not only children but also their families.
This fundraising activity is initiated by 100Minds, which is a non-for-profit organisation that brings together 100 students in Ireland to raise a TOTAL of 100,000 Euros for Temple Street Children's Hospital. 100Minds has worked very closely with the children's hospital to ensure that every cent is spend wisely.
With funds you donated, a lot can be changed in the hospital, such as a new Pathology Department (an entirely new blood gas analysis department so Doctors can analyze blood work of newborn infants faster and more effectively), a more pleasant and joyful hospital environment so kids who are bored or scared can relax, have fun and play, or even a Temple Street Storybook for Metabolic Patients to educate children with metabolic disorders on their condition and explain the importance of taking their medication, and more positive changes.
I will be organising fundraising activities during the following one and half months. The first activity will take place during the start of this semester in UCD Smurfit and UCD campus. I will selling some Beautiful and meaningful Chinese paper cuttings. Details will be specified after negotiation with the univeristy.
Paper cut donation in Smurfit
Posted: over 7 years ago
I started my fundraising on 29th, 30th, and 31st Jan in UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School by selling art works bought from China - Chinese Paper Cuts. So I can receive their warm heart and return back my thanks and best wishes when they conduct the purchase and donations as well.
On 29th Jan, I launched an initial sale after my lecture
On 30th and 31st Jan, I had a stand in UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School Common Room.
Thanks to Smurfit Staff and some students there, I now raised 85.82 euros (after deducting my cost to buy those Chinese wishes).
