The challenge of raising this amount of money is a daunting task and one that will require creativity and hard work. These requirements are why I believe that I am a suitable candidate for the 100minds program. I will put in all the effort needed and more because I respect what 100minds is trying to achieve. I am passionate about these goals and I am certain this will become evident through my work ethic. I have excellent people skills which will be a key component in order to reach these shared goals. I am already quiet familiar with 100minds and have been following its progress over the last several months. I am aware of the responsibility I will be taking on and am ready to accept them with complete awareness of how much work is required. I cant think of anything more meaningful to do with my time than to achieve 100minds mission.

With the festive season approaching, I spotted the opportunity to create an event which would help with my fundraising. On the 16th of December twenty-five recruits set Grafton street ablaze with festive harmonies. Having enticed the participants the part take with the promise of gift exchanging, we were able to raise €140 and came that much closer to accomplishing the 100minds target.
Staff Lunch

An amazing €314 was raised by holding a lunch for the staff in a primary school in Tallaght. An impressive spread was put out as teachers and staff cleared their plates and donated what they wanted. Their generosity is exactly what 100minds needs in order to achieve our goals.
Non-uniform Day

The great thing about 100minds is being able to see the creative events come to life in an effort to raise money for an incredible cause. While perhaps not the most creative, the non-uniform day I organised in Sandford Park School was massively effective in achieving its purpose. I looked for an idea that would be guaranteed to raise money and be successful. After contacting the school and organizing the necessary arrangements the event took place just before the Christmas break and contributed an impressive €402 towards my fundraising goal.
