The structure of 100 Minds is simple; 100 Students, giving 100% to raise €1000 each, giving a total of €100,000 to Temple Street Childrens Hospital.

I'm a 4th year UCD medical student from Adare, Co. Limerick. I'm currently involved with UCD GAA, Mater Hospital RFC, and UCD Medics Golf Society. Together with my friend CJ McCarrick (also 4th year med) from Sligo, we intend to raise €1000 for Temple Street Childrens Hospital.

One of my primary interests is paediatrics and so raising money for Temple Street is something I was keen to be a part of.

I have previously worked in a Hole In The Wall summer camp in America for chronically and terminally ill children, and as such have seen what a huge difference state of the art facilities can have. It doesn't have to be a new MRI machine or fancy equipment, a few simple toys can alter whether the child perceives the hospital as a friend or a foe.
