Hi everyone! This is my profile for the 100 minds project, that i am thrilled to be apart of. I spent a good bit of time brain storming on how i was going to raise the 1000 euro.

My first idea was to hold a coffee morning in Monkstown, friends and family baked goods and a lot of people from around the area came down to support the cause and i thank everyone who came and supported.

I still had a good bit of money to raise after my coffee morning and through donation made online. In college there was a society week coming up, so i decided to hold a clothes sale during this time. I gathered clothes from friends and family and of coarse my own wardrobe. All the clothes,shoes and bags were priced and labeled and a stall was setup during the society week. Posters and a text was sent out to inform students that this would be going on, It went down really well and raised just over 500 euro.

I would strongly recommend students to get involved with 100 minds next year, as it is a great way to meet other students and learn from the mentors which you are given to help you in any way possible. I am so glad that i decided to take part this year, it has been a great experience.
