Hey everyone.
I'm trying to raise €1000, or hopefully more, for the kids of Temple Street Hospital as part of the 100 minds project. I will be organising events in the very near future in order to help me achieve my goal. In the meantime please feel free to donate what you can afford, every penny counts and no donation can ever be too small! Donating is easy, just click the "Donate Now" button over there --------> and follow the instructions. All the money donated on this page goes directly into the Temple Street Children's Hospital bank account and you wont go unrecognised as you will be listed as one of my backers! For more information on 100 minds please click here : http://100minds.org/
100 minds is an initiative started by recent Irish graduates. They have recruited 100 undergraduates in order to collectively raise €100,000 to help aid the sick children of Temple Street Hospital. Over 130,000 sick children pass through Temple Street Hospital each year and the money raised will help these kids lead a better life. All the money donated goes straight to Temple Street Children's Hospital, here's a brief breakdown of where your money will be spent :
€60,000 will be spent on new machinery and equipment for the hospital!
€27,000 will be spent on the "Every Child Deserves a Childhood" project where funds will be used to improve the environment and atmosphere in the hospital!
€13,000 will be spent on supporting the families of sick children!
A more detailed description of exactly where your money will be spent can be found here : http://100minds.org/assets/spend-breakdown.pdf
Thanks for visiting my personal 100 minds page and please remember to visit it again in order to find out about upcoming events to help raise even more funds for the Hospital!

100 Minds Charity Poker Tournament - 20th of February 2014
Posted: about 9 years ago
I have managed to recruit 20 people who have pledged to pay a 20 euro buy in to my 100 minds poker tournament which will be held this Thursday the 20th of February. 100% of the buy in will go to Temple Street Childrens hospital. Players will be rewarded with prizes I have raised through various generous donations, as well as enjoy free food and drinks throughout the evening.
Complete Player List : Harry O'Connor, William Synnott, Jack Fenton, Rob O'Donoghue, Karl Murphy, Luke Murray, Stefan Boyce, Max Le Blanc, Kevin Roddy, Jack Gleeson, Mark Stephens, Conor Lamplugh, Jack O'Carroll, Niall Devlin, Conor Kilcoyne, Paul McCabe, Stephen Moroney, Cill O'Farrell, Conor O'Dwyer, and Jocelyn O'Callaghan
The evening was a tremendous success. Stephen Moroney came out victorious, whilst Kevin Roddy finished runner up and Max Le Blanc finished in third place in what was an exhilarating final table with several unexpected twists and turns. The tournament concluded when Kevin's all in was called pre flop by Stephen who turned over his ace ten in what proved to be a bold but excellent tournament winning call when Kevin reluctantly turned over pocket nines. The flop was dealt and provided Stephen with no help, it looked like Kevin was to become a dominant chip leader, until the turn card broke his heart with the ten of spades putting Stephen in front. There was no magic 9 on the river and so Stephen took home the pride of winning the tournament. However all players were proud as their money was going towards a terrific cause!
